On June 1st, 8:30 AM, there will be Cycle the Germantown
Greenways Bicycle Rides
to raise money for the Wolf River Conservancy. Distance
options will range
from 5 to 50 miles. The main ride be in Germantown with
an option to
ride to Collierville. There will be a family ride, Cycle
Germantown, totally on the
Greenway. Food and Entertainment will be available after
the ride.
The rides will begin and end at 7250 Wolf River Blvd at
the Gravel
Parking Lot of the Germantown Greenway located behind
the Texas Gas
Pipeline. This is located between Kirby and Riverdale.
The rides are sponsored by the Temple Israel
Environmental Task Force
and the City of Germantown Parks & Recreation
Department.
