She also writes grants on a freelance basis for the Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence, the City of Memphis, Shelby County and other clients, and has done so far more than 10 years.
Cathy has a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Reed College, Portland, Oregon; a Masters in Community Planning from Auburn University; and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Christian Brothers University. She lives in Vollintine Evergreen in Midtown with her daughter and son. She is a neighborhood volunteer, and whenever possible, takes canoe and camping trips on the rivers of the Mid-South region.
