We are looking for a few committed members who would love to share their support for and belief in the Wolf River Conservancy’s mission with others for the purpose of soliciting new members! We hope to assemble a group of 4-6 “Ambassadors” who would periodically represent WRC at venues such as the Downtown Farmer’s Market, Cooper-Young Festival, Shelby Farms Down-to-Earth Festival, etc.
Interested WRC members would participate in a 1 – 2 hour orientation session to prepare them to “share our message” with the public.
The ideal candidate would be:
- Passionate about the WRC mission and outreach programs
- Outgoing and effective communicator
- Able to volunteer for a minimum of one event a month (about 4 hours)
- Results-oriented
- Looking to have some fun while also helping the WRC
