Come join our Director of Outreach, Jim Gafford, on a hike around the one-mile loop trail of the Greenway Arboretum.  We will gather at the Shady Grove trailhead at 6:30 pm for introductions and instructions regarding the walk.  The parking lot for the Greenway Trailhead is located on the north side of the road at 6324 Humphrey Boulevard between Baptist Hospital and Shady Grove Road. Parking will be available in the Semmes Murphy lot across Humphrey Boulevard. Please exercise extreme caution crossing Humphreys Boulevard.

In a nutshell, we will be enjoying the weather and talking about trees. This will be an interactive hike so research your favorite tree and contribute to the conversation.

The event will take place rain or shine so dress appropriately. If you have questions please contact Jim Gafford (Director of Outreach) at (901) 573-2353 (cell/text) or by email at jim.gafford@wolfriver.org.

A note on safety:

Cyclists will also be using the Greenway as we are walk the arboretum. Proper etiquette requires they pass on our left and also note the passing by ringing a bell or speaking “Passing on Left”. We will be looking out for them as well as the safety of everyone.
