Drink a Beer, Save a River

Join us on August 28th at Flyway Brewing for a very special Drink a Beer, Save a River!
Drink a Beer Save a River supports the Wolf River Conservancy's efforts to protect and preserve the Wolf River.
In partnership with Flyway Brewing., The Wolf River Conservancy hosts a talk with Dr. Anne Sabol to discuss The Memphis Zoo’s Urban Wildlife Research Initiative.
The Memphis Zoo has created a new urban wildlife research initiative as part of the national Urban Wildlife Information Network. Through partnerships with many different groups around Memphis, including The Wolf River Conservancy, The Memphis Zoo has deployed 30+ cameras across the city to better understand how wildlife use urban green spaces in Memphis to better coexist.
Dr. Anne Sabol is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Memphis Zoo studying the dusky gopher frog and urban ecology.
Every beer you purchase from 5:30 pm until close means 25% of the purchase price toward the Conservancy's efforts to protect and preserve Memphis's water source.
Flyway Brewing has always been guided by the natural rhythm of the Mississippi Flyway – the vast migratory route that connects continents, ecosystems, and communities. Inspired by that path, Flyway crafts small-batch beers and fresh, locally inspired food that celebrate connection, collaboration, and craft.
Our event begins at 5:30 and panel discussion begins at 6. Great water makes great beer, so let's raise a glass to clean water! Don't miss out on this opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying fantastic beer!
