Walk The Greenway - Wolf River Crossing

Join The Wolf River Conservancy at our Shady Grove Trailhead for a guided walk on The Wolf River Greenway! Wolf River Crossing is the section of the Wolf River Greenway that runs from Walnut Grove to the Shelby Farms Greenline.  This part of the Greenway consists of a paved trail with a few small bridges heading northwest from Walnut Grove before crossing the Wolf River with a 270ft suspension bridge, then continuing mostly north to the Greenline on an elevated boardwalk through the Lucius Burch State Natural Area.  With this section of The Greenway being a bit more elevated, it offers a different perspective of the Wolf River and its adjacent floodplain. This leisurely stroll will be entirely on hard surface trails with mostly level terrain.
