Wolf River Stream Stroll July 2025

Take a break from the heat, put on your water shoes, and join us at the Bateman Bridge boat access for wading in the Wolf River, netting up and viewing small aquatic critters, or just playing in the water.  This family-friendly, easygoing event is a great way to introduce kids to the beauty and biodiversity of the upper Wolf River.  PLEASE RSVP TO REGISTER. The bottom of the river is uneven, so sturdy water shoes or old sneakers are needed; no bare feet, crocs, or flip flops, please.  Life jackets are highly recommended for young children.  Dip nets will be available but feel free to bring your own, as well as any needed medications, drinking water, and other supplies.For questions, please contact Cathy, education@wolfriver.org.
