Wander a field of wildflowers adjacent to Epping Way Lake and learn more about the native plant and wildlife of the Wolf River Watershed. Come and learn about the native species of the Wolf River Watershed with our educational guides along the Wolf River Greenway! This walk will focus on native wildflowers, pollinators, and wildlife along the Wolf River Greenway at Epping Way. Nature Walks will be held weekends during the spring and fall. Walks last for approximately one hour maximum, begin at 9:00am, and will be held at two separate Greenway locations, so please pay attention to the location you are signing up for.
Our Educational Guides will begin classes, every Saturday at 9:00 am. We encourage you to bring water and sunscreen and any other items that will make you comfortable. All ages are welcome. Portable restrooms will be on site. Walks will be on the paved Greenway trail, which is 1.2 miles in length. The Wolf River Greenway trail is ADA accessible in all locations.
