2022 Discover the Greenway Raises Over $50K!
On behalf of the Wolf River Conservancy, thank you for your participation in our 3rd annual Discover the Greenway event, presented by Jim Keras Subaru! You made this event a success in so many ways, including raising over $50,000 to support the work of the Wolf River Conservancy! Fundraising for Discover the Greenway will continue through July 15 at wolfriver.org/discover.
As a quick event recap, we wanted to share a few highlights:
- This year’s more than 150 selfie submissions can be found in our 2022 Discover the Greenway photo album on the Conservancy's Facebook page — also be sure to tag, like, and share! https://www.facebook.com/wolfriver/photos
- The winners of our grand prizes — including a Breakaway Running Package, an Outdoors Inc. Paddling Package, and an Orvis $500 Gift Card + Picnic Pack — have been notified. Thank you to our friends at Breakaway Running, Outdoors Inc., and Orvis for your generous support!
- We ask that you take a moment to complete our short 7-question survey to assist our event committee in planning next year's Discover the Greenway. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZDVKTYY
A special thanks to our Discover the Greenway Committee: Aaron Klimek (chair), Elizabeth Brewer, Fred Geyer, Gibson Kelley, Mitch Lansky, Haavi Morreim, Dermot Murray, and Francky Samson.
We enjoyed receiving so many great selfies and wonderful comments from your time on the Wolf River Greenway. We hope you gained a greater appreciation for the Wolf River Greenway and perhaps visited a section you had never been to before. The Wolf River Greenway serves as a connector for many neighborhoods as well as other trails and green spaces here in Memphis and West Tennessee. We are so looking forward to the day when all 26 miles are completed, and please keep in touch with the Wolf River Conservancy about its continued progress.
Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you on the Greenway!
