Ways to Give: DAF and IRA contributions

As the year ends, we invite you to help protect the Wolf River with a special donation. If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) or an IRA, there are easy and smart ways to get you into the giving spirit while supporting the Conservancy.

Give Through Your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

A Donor-Advised Fund is like a savings account for giving to charity. You can recommend a grant from your DAF to the Wolf River Conservancy by December 31, which may also help with taxes. Your gift will help us continue our work to protect the river and its beautiful green spaces.

Use an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a gift to us directly from your IRA account. This type of gift is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Giving this way can help you meet your yearly IRA requirements without adding to your taxable income. It’s a smart way to give while also helping to protect our natural areas.
