Community Gathers for Greenway Progress Update

Kicking off the Discover the Greenway Fall Series 2026, the Wolf River Conservancy hosted an engaging update event at the Crosstown Concourse Glassroom. Executive Director Erik Houston and Greenway Coordinator Findley Frazier shared a detailed look at current progress on the Wolf River Greenway, including the 14 miles already open to the public and the work underway to complete the full 26‑mile multi‑use trail.

The event saw a strong turnout. As always, Memphis shows up for the things that matter to our community. The discussion highlighted how the Greenway will ultimately connect more than 22 neighborhoods from Mud Island to Collierville, creating a continuous corridor of protected green space for walkers, runners, and cyclists.

We are grateful to Crosstown Concourse for providing such a welcoming space for this event, and we appreciate everyone who joined us. To watch a recording of the presentation, please see the link below.
