We are Thankful for our 2025 Volunteers!

This year’s Greenway Soiree celebrating the Wolf River Conservancy’s 40th Anniversary was a resounding success with record support from our donors!  We would not have been able to create such a spectacular evening without the tremendous effort of over twenty volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure that the event was a success, greeting guests, answering their questions, assisting with registration and set-up, and other vital tasks. The Conservancy would like to issue a special shout out to the Employee Engagement Office at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for promoting this volunteer opportunity to its staff; the St. Jude team greatly bolstered our volunteer numbers for this event.  

We would also like to thank over 1,000 volunteers who joined us for service initiatives throughout the year. Special thanks to the Telugu association, Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering, and the University of Memphis. This year, trees were planted, trails were cleared, nest boxes were built for our feathered friends, and so much more. The Wolf River Conservancy and the Wolf River Watershed owe, celebrating the Wolf River Conservancy’s 40th Anniversary, a debt of gratitude to our 2025 volunteers. Thank you for your service. We can’t do this without you!
