Conservancy Team Attends Tennessee Biodiversity Summit

Representing the Wolf River Conservancy, Ryan Hall and Dylan Moreau attended the 2026 Tennessee Biodiversity Summit in Murfreesboro. Nearly 900 land conservationists from across the state - state of TN, nonprofits, and federal partners - joined a full day of learning about rare species and collaborative efforts. An inspiring presentation by Chris Wood, the Director of eBird at Cornell Lab of Ornithology, demonstrated the power of citizen science, especially as it relates to birds. Other presenters highlighted recent conservation successes over the last year. This one-day conference affirms the need for continued land protection and stewardship and energizes the Conservancy further.
