Fall Greenway Programs Begin on October 1st!

There are sights, sounds, and programs for all ages along the Wolf River Greenway this fall, starting on Saturday, October 1st!   After a break from the summer heat, our free community programming is returning with great activities for everyone.  You can learn to paddle a canoe or kayak on a 20-acre lake at the Epping Way section of the Wolf River Greenway.  Or  will begin its fall season on Saturday October 1st, along the Wolf River Greenway. What can one look forward to from our programs? One could: Learn to paddle a canoe or kayak in our Paddle the Greenway program, at the Epping Way section of the Wolf River Greenway; or get in a quick barre workout with certified instructor Peggy Jean Craig at the Mud Island trailhead. Learn more about native plants, trees, and  wildlife at Epping Way, or about mushrooms and mycology at the Wolf River Crossing section with our excellent Explore the Greenway instructors.  At Wolf River Crossing, you can also visit our beautiful new 270-ft. cable-stayed suspension bridge over the Wolf River!  All programs and equipment are provided to the public free of charge by the Wolf River Conservancy.

Our exciting fall season kicks off with the 2nd Annual Mental Health Awareness Day along the Wolf River Greenway at Epping Way, presented by Sylvamo. Mental health experts and partners will be on hand to help folks explore how to better navigate mental health issues, in addition to kayaking, food trucks, and more! Register today at Wolfriver.org/Programming.
