Wolf River Conservancy Welcomes New Board Members for 2022

We are pleased to announce the addition of four new board members for 2022. While they all have different backgrounds and interests, they all share their passion and support for the mission of the Wolf River Conservancy. Please welcome our new board members.

Dr. K.C. Horne

Dr. Kristopher C Horne (K.C.) specializes in Musculoskeletal & Diagnostic radiology at Memphis Radiological P.C. which serves Methodist Le Bohneur Healthcare and has over 19 years of experience in the field of medicine. He graduated from the Memphis University School, the University of the South and The University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine with his medical degree in 2002. He is affiliated with numerous hospitals in Tennessee, including Methodist Healthcare Memphis Hospitals. Dr. Kristopher C Horne is licensed to practice by the state board in Tennessee.

K.C. also serves on the Memphis University School Alumni Association Executive Board.

K.C. is an avid hunter and enjoys fishing also when he is not hiking and biking on the Wolf River Greenway.

Matt Inbusch

Matt is a sustainability leader who believes that business can must play a leading role in addressing our shared societal and planetary challenges. At International Paper, Matt leads the company’s decarbonization and water stewardship plans as part of IP’s ambitious Vision 2030 goals. He facilitates cross-functional internal teams and works with diverse external partners in pursuit of IP’s vision to be among the world’s most successful, sustainable, and responsible companies. Earlier in his career, Matt served as a Peace Corps volunteer and later supported USAID global economic development projects. Matt has an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and a BA from Colgate University.

Matt currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Turner Family Center for Social Ventures at Vanderbilt, a student-led, interdisciplinary organization committed to building socially and environmentally conscious leaders and doers.

As a Midtown Memphis resident, he serves on the Board of the Evergreen Historic District Association. Matt volunteers often in and around Memphis and enjoys participating in Wolf River Conservancy events such as IP’s annual tree planting, the Epping Way 5k, and the Greenway Soiree. Matt has paddled several sections of the Wolf over the last few years, and as an avid cyclist is VERY excited about the Greenway project.

Matt lives in Memphis with his long-distance partner (when she’s in town) and their two dogs. Travel, the outdoors, and hearing/seeing/making music are some of his favorite things.

Matt is thrilled to be considered to represent IP on the Wolf River Conservancy Board and looks forward to supporting the Conservancy’s mission and ongoing work – particularly in linking underserved communities with local outdoor opportunities.

Mitchell Lansky

Mitchell is a lifelong Memphian (yes, the same family that dressed the “King”).  He is also true Gator as a graduate of the University of Florida with a BSBA. Mitchell obtained his law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in Birmingham and holds a Masters in Tax Law (LLM) from Washington University in St. Louis. Mitchell has practiced law in Memphis for over 35 years specializing in Estate Planning and Elder Law. He has been very active in the Memphis Area community including various Jewish related boards, The Rotary Club of East Memphis, the Boy Scouts, the Memphis Jewish Home, the Memphis Hightailers, the Memphis Runners Track Club and West Cancer Center's Fight-On.

Mitchell has been a long-time volunteer for the Wolf River Conservancy and captain of the Wolf River Cycle the Greenway and now the Discover the Greenway.

Mitchell is married to Joyce Lansky and the father of 3 great kids and 1 grandkid.

Michael Seeker

Michael is the founder of Seeker Property Group, a real estate investment company that restores and operates historic apartment buildings. He and his team have renovated dozens of blighted properties across Memphis and Louisville Kentucky and he has been featured on several real estate investing podcasts.  Michael is also a credentialed actuary with over a decade of experience managing finances for complex healthcare contracts. He and his wife Mallory operate a financial consulting firm out of their home in Midtown and are active board members for the Evergreen Historic District Association.

Michael enjoys reading, spending free time with family & friends, and an occasional round of golf.
